Bangor Baptist Church has no shortage of children.  In fact, our children's ministry is one of the strongest areas in the church.  Programs are offered for children during our 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM service as put into practice Proverbs 22:6...  "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Sunday School
Our Sunday school classes meet every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Sunday school is a great way to teach Jesus Christ's love and forgiveness to children. We lay the building block that can affect their whole life. Ages two through three is located in the toddler side of the nursery. K4 is located in room 17 across from the nursery, and K5 is located downstairs in room 8. Grades 1 - 5 is located in room 8 also.

Junior Church
Junior church occurs every Sunday at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM for our three-and four-year-olds in Waumba Land.  Our Children's Center provides junior church for five-year-olds through grade six at both the 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services. These services offer a wide variety of activities and lessons to meet the needs of these various age groups.

Nursery
Our nursery is open for all services. The nursery is for birth through age three. We lay the stepping stones of Bible stories and children's songs that will prepare your child for a salvation experience. It is our sincere desire to provide an environment that is secure, satisfying, and enriched with love. Sheila Collins is our nursery director. She attended Bangor Christian Schools and then moved on to get her BA in Elementary Education. Upon completion of her degree, she taught for four years at Bangor Christian and then had her first child. After the birth of her first child, her attention turned to serving in the nursery .
